JoanWILLIAMSOn 20th June 2017 Joan Williams, wife of Neville Williams for 61 years, died at Royal Preston Hospital aged 81 years and was previously cared for at Longton Care Centre. A celebration of her life was held at St Mary's Church, Penwortham, presided over by the very Rev Christopher Nelson, and was attended by her husband Neville, her 3 sons Stephen, Kevin and Neil, their wives Jackie, Julie and Christine and their families, plus lifelong friends and Joan's brother Frank, his wife Gloria and their family. Joan was a Tax Officer and lifelong Christian and held many offices in various churches. Her only daughter Dawn died of an inoperable heart complaint in 1985. Her husband Neville wishes to express a special thankful you to Longton Care Centre and Royal Preston staff for their excellent care of Joan, and to Neal Buckley for caring and dignified funeral arrangements.
